Morning Coffee With RV Blog Friends

Sunset last Night, river is still very high
Good morning kids! It's a glorious day on the Mississippi in lovely Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
I've ground brewed myself a cup of gourmet coffee, (Hazelnut Cream), and am watching the sun rise while catching up on some of my RV blog friends.

I can't tell you how much it means to me to have a circle of people who understand why we live the way we do, and to be able to share our dreams and frustrations is golden.

This morning Jerry and Kimberly are having customer service mail order problems with Rand McNally, something we can all relate to on the road. I share their frustration with "outsourced" customer service!

Sam and Donna are at their homebase in MO, and are not liking the heat we are all experiencing, after the coldest and wettest Spring ever....

Stu and Sadie are helping to raise awareness and funds for Nashville's flooding victims.

There are so many people out there doing wonderful things and sharing them with us.

The wonderful thing is I feel I really know these people better than I know the folks I see face to face on a daily basis. A common thread runs through us all, the love of the road and the adventure of working things out so we can enjoy it to it's fullest.

I look forward to getting up before sunrise, making a cup of joe, then turning on the net and checking up on my fellow vagabonds. It's become a very enjoyable ritual.

Sunrise this Morning
Not that I don't have a life, shortly here I will make my rounds of phone calls and go run some errands, as well as take a walk on the riverbank to see if I can catch a glimpse of the bear sized wood chuck that lives in the ruins of the old factory next door.

So, check out my Favorite Blogs list below and catch up on what other people of a like mind are up to. You might just see yourself reflected in their pages!

I know exactly what you mean...blogging is fun. I have especially enjoyed all the rv traveling blogs ..I feel like I could travel across the USA and never stay a night in a hotel...

Thanks for thinking of us, Sam is thinking of a couple of days at the Lake with the fiver this week with Adam his Grandson, and then in the 16th we will be heading out to Il to visit Dennis & Donna, and also our cousin's, and then to Wisconsin to visit Steven & Karen in the woods. Can't wait as we both need a vacation and it will be a little cooler up in Wisconsin. Have to look at the map and see where Prairie Du Chein is, I know we will be north of Green Bay in Oconto and maybe take a couple couple days to visit with Karens Sister in the U.P. If we get close we'll give you a shout. Be safe out there. Sam & Donna

Fulltime RV'ing is definitely the life. However, we can't bring ourselves to get up early enough to see the sun rise -- fresh brewed coffee sounds great! Watch out for that Mighty Mississippi!!
